Brightest Hearts on the Planet

Kevin, I just tried calling you for your birthday and you didn't answer. In the words of Julia Roberts on Pretty Woman, "BIG mistake!!!!" Now, I have to tell you here.

You are my absolute everything. When I had nothing, literally nothing, you took care of me. You put me through college, you brought me from the brink of utter heartbreak, you forced me to love Tupac, you walked me down the aisle. You've always stuck up for me, especially when I took risks - sometimes when I was wrong and reckless. You are one of the hardest working men I know. One of the people with the brightest hearts on the planet. You've always been smarter, cooler and far too responsible. I am only brave because you told me to be, gave me the utter audacity, and believed it was possible and I owe you everything.

I love you so very much and I hope - especially today - that you feel it. Thank you so much for being my brother. Happy, happy birthday.
